Disturbed in the night! No, not just by Clare and the boys going to bed later than me these days. No not even by my get-up-for-work alarm going off at 6am, even though I'm not going in to London today. No it is the radiator in our room rattling every time a lorry or a bus goes past. I got up to check that it was this, and it does move and rattle. The radiators are kind of hooked on to the wall, I suppose this is the standard now. You can lift them off their brackets, and the pipes under them are flexible so you can move the radiator for painting and cleaning. I have never painted or cleaned behind them, but still, that is the theory. I will get some insulation tape or something to go round the brackets so this one sits nicer and doesn't rattle. But when? Too busy. Maybe next weekend.
Light rain and a gentle breeze, 11 - 17℃.
