Now this is one that feels like it ought to be that long ago, not like your Oasis and so on from this time that feels like it can't be that long ago. We saw The Actual Kinks at Southampton Mayflower Theatre. Calling them "The Actual Kinks" makes it sound like a tribute band, it was not, it was the Kinks.
Same city, same date two years later in 1995, Radiohead too. More impressive in its own way, espcially looking at the price on that ticket. £0.00, I won it in a BBC Radio 1 competition.
