Hmm, that was the weekend too so it's not just being busy at work. I have been ill, that's my excuse.
Saturday afternoon we went to the cinema, to see Paddington In Peru, for T2's birthday, and then to Pizza Hut.
Sunday we skipped Junior Parkrun, as we were both feeling ill. Clare and I did go to Tesco for the bin food run and had a walk up and down the high street. I got a good range of free stuff for my tea, but without looking too closely I did pick up a pulled pork wrap and took a bit of it before the boys pointed out it probably wasn't the one I thought. Spat it out, but I got it on me. This is probably what made me feel even worse the next day. Somehow it exacerbated my cold. Or maybe not. Anyway I took a sickie yesterday, and so did T2.
Last night though, feeling better we all went to the cinema again, this time to see the new christmas film Red One, with Dwayne Johnson and Chris Evans. They are in it, we didn't go with them. This was a Tesco showing, they showed the new christmas advert first, and then plied us with food and drink, including nachos, popcorn, gingerbread, and drinks. Clare even got a gin and tonic, though I was not drinking.
Back to work and school today.
Free energy today 1. I bought a washing machine cleaner, I will put a hot wash on to do that.
Light rain and a fresh breeze, 9 - 12℃.
