Blog2024 ≫ Outrageous weather out there

They've gone and named another storm haven't they? It only encourages them! This one is quite stormish. It's 4pm as I write this, and it's dark and the rain and wind are battering the windows. We've just got back from Folkestone, where we did a little shopping and got some lunch. To Burrito Boy, on Tontine Street, where Beano used to be. It was pretty good, but too filling for a lunch. I deliberately went for the burrito bowl so it would be less filling without the wrap, but still quite a lot of food. And we're out for dinner tonight too! No chance of walking off that big lunch in this fierce weather either.

On the way back I stopped in at supermarkets, to get something for the boys' tea, and some wine for us to take round our friends house.

Now just sitting, listening to music, fixing up the mess I made of this blog the other day, and having a coffee far too late in the day.

52Kph winds and rain, 12 - 11℃.

Estimated 2136 cups of coffee from my espresso machine 1 prob'ly comes to £0.98 a cup (including actual coffee and now servicing 1 but not the 'leccy).
