Blog2024 ≫ Where is my mustard?

T1 is on a school trip to Lille, France today. They're stopping at a hypermarket on the way back. He can't by beer (I think) but Ihe could get me some mustard! It's easily availabl here, but it's a quarter of the price there. He said he would, but I just got a text, sorry Dad, forgot. They're on the coach on the way back. I will have to pick him up about half nine, and I dropped him off at 7am this morning, AND I haave to go into London tomorrow for my work christmas dinner. Don't think that is at all likely to be a boozy one, no-one there drinks. Of the two I persuaded to go to the pub after the dinner last year, one is on holiday in Dominican Republic or somewhere, and the other one moved to Southampton since then. There's a slim chance of it being like a proper work christmas do, but I think it will all be very civilised and sensible.

Weather is not good, I'd probably rather not be going out at all.

45Kph winds and rain, 9 - 13℃.
