There's something I did today that I forgot to mention, because it happened so long ago right at the beginning of the day. I got up early to go and do the tip run that I nearly-but-failed-to book on new years eve. I got an 8am booking to get rid of all the christmas wrappings and delivery packing and so on. We were overrun with recycling and there's still a week to go before the next collection. The tip opens at 8am and there was a queue to get in when I got there, but it moved fast. As well as the paper I finally bit the bullet and got rid of the IKEA smart blinds. Facing up to the fact I'm unlikely to get them working again, so stop hoarding. I also cleared out a bag of cables and other electronic bits. One thing was actually quite expensive when I bought it, never used it, cannot imagine anyone would want it, so it finally went.
Going to the tip meant I could not do the run before work, which is why I went out at lunch. Will see if I feel like going out before work tomorrow.
Settling down now to watch new Vera on TV. See if the boys have the patience.
