We have booked three hotels anyway, no way of getting between them. Two of them we have to pay on the day, but one we had to pay now. Still fully cancellable on all of them. It breaks it up, hopefully I will get a bonus from work in May before having to pay too much of it...
Pay day a week on Friday anyway, for Clare and for me. Most of hers will be going on paying off train fares though in this first month. She used her carnet semi-season ticket today for the first time. You book eight in advance that have to be used in a month, and then you activate one of them on the day you want to use it. Works out £60 a day this way, where it is £83 a day the way I do it.
Sunny and a moderate breeze, 2 - 9℃.
