Blog2025 ≫ Happy fathers day

I got some presents and a cup of tea in bed today 1, lovely. Dad I have an actual present for you here too!

I got a "guide to Glastonbury" and The Examiner by Janice Hallett 2. I really enjoyed her other books. The guide to Glastonbury brings into focus that it's not long to go, in fact it'll be the final day of it two weeks from now. And I'm not packed yet! This guide has its own packing list, but the guy who wrote it suggests bringing three hats and premixed spirits. They're not on my list.

I'd better get on with it.

Sunny intervals and a moderate breeze, 11 - 20℃.

  1. I forgot to come back and write up the rest of the day too. We went to The Woolpack at Warehorn, gastro pub type job. It's part of the group that also owns the Radnor Arms in Folkestone. It's a nice spot, but our lunch was very slightly underwelming. I had a real ale, a golden ale that was really good. Second pint of it was not quite as good. Everyone else had a roast that was ok, but not the best. I had a pakora burger which was nice, but again not the nicest. Maybe we had built it up too much. After we left The Woolpack I went to meet Sean at the Clarendon and had more beer! A good day.
