There was just one hour of free Octopus Energy 1 today, from 2pm to 3pm. That was when we were out on our walk, I could not use it. One hour is no use. Also it's not really free energy at that time, only your excess is free. Whatever you would normally use at that time would still be charged. I think I've normally got the tumble dryer on at that point on a Sunday, I'm probably well out of socket.
This weekend I have hung our washing out, so the towels have gone really rough and crispy, not great.
