Blog2025 ≫ Reading books

Day off sick is a good opportunity to catch up on some reading. I finished the newest Robert Galbraith book The Hallmarked Man 1 2 and it is brilliant. A lot of characters to keep up with, but it's a long book. One of them bears more than a passing resemblance to your boris johnson, not quite sure how she got away with that. Looking forward to this one beeing on TV. Then I have also started the latest Richard Osman Thursday Murder Club The Impossible Fortune 1. Too early to say how good this is but the print does seem very big.

Back to work tomorrow I think. I still have this lurgy but it's not getting any worse. Look at that shocking step count for this week though.

Some free Octopus Energy 3 tomorrow too. Might use this illness to avoid going to London this week. Much as I enjoy it no-one wants me coughing and spluttering all over them. Hoping I am fully better by the weekend, we have plans!

The others are out to a quiz tonight, and I have watched all my TV programmes already. Back to the book.

Partly cloudy and a gentle breeze, 4 - 7℃.

  2. As I look that up on amazon right now, after I wrote the original blog entry but same week, it is listed in the science fiction section... what?? It is definitely crime.
  3. Join Octopus Energy here and we both earn money.
