Was on a Nixdorf training course in Hounslow, turned up too late for support band Wolfsbane, and anyway we had no tickets, but got given some by someone outside, I am sure it was Tommy Vance. Apparently we saw Jonathon King there too.
Pixies played this venue the following night, in the classic tradition of me being at the venue one day out from a really good gig.
I attended this one, more from this year in my gig history for 1990. I have seen Iron Maiden probably 3 times; Hammersmith Odeon (1990), Brixton Academy ('02), + Nottingham Arena (2023), though I still have some bragging tagging to do so this may go up. Part of every gig I was at from '87 to 2025. An obvious step from my Best gigs of all time weblog post. Yeah I know a bit geeky, let's let that go though, I'm enjoying reminiscing about this stuff.
