Getting there with my gig history now, all the gigs I remember going to, from 1987 up to about now.
It's an obvious step from my Best gigs of all time post.
Well that's the theory, so there's A LOT missing.
I have added details from the big bag of old gig tickets that I gathered while I was in London, + a box of old concert tickets + things from Mum and Dad's loft.
Also got lots of gaps regarding festival lineups, they'll probably stay missing, it's so hard to remember. There's a stack missing where I've lost tickets or never had them, most of the guestlist actions during my NME and Popex years and that.
Yeah I know it's a bit nerdy, let's let that go though, I'm having fun remembering this stuff.
Probably I've not started scanning the tickets in yet Of course I have scanned the tickets now[^But I've lost the bag of tickets before I scanned them all in!]...

The less funny part of the Mary Whitehouse Experience, still we completed the set. Also saw David Baddiel + Rob Newman at the same venue a few days before. Not sure who has the best legacy of the four.…
Tue Nov 24 1992
The cooler half of the Mary Whitehouse Experience (or so it seemed at the time), Rob Newman and David Baddiel.…

Again, with Pantera this time. Seems we were on the guest list for this, nice. Must be something Kev sorted out as it's just before my fanzine days.…

This one might have been too late for me, so I know I saw Atom Seed a lot, right up until they stopped playing, so I was prob'ly there. Just found it on concert archives^Removed old concertarchives.org/bands/creaming-jesus link here.] + they have a scanned ticket + copy of The Organ [fanzine that mentions it. With support form Creaming Jesus. I remember that name too.…

Not Beetle Bash, + not Bug Jam, so Bug Bash. Maybe some arguments over names? I seem to think this was the one that was more about the rave and less about the cars though. On for three days.…
Fri Jul 03 1992
Yes another one that is not a gig, so if I know I went to the cinema then it helps me narrow down the dates of other events.…
Tue Jun 02 1992
Past their prime (mover), who exactly were the Love Reaction at this stage? Still a treat though, even if enjoying it slightly ironically by this stage. One of them was called Susan I think + he was younger than the others.Didn't mean to scan two tickets in there, sorry.…

~No idea of the date of this so possibly this year~[^Holy mama, this is the biggest difference between "I think it was this date" + the actual date. Found the ticket now and it was May 14th 1992. I originally guessed this was some time in 1990.]. Mark Lamarr[^It says Mark Lamaar on the ticket, which I have now found.] supported, maybe the first thing I went to at this venue[^This is prob'ly still true.].…

Friends band, hi Kev!Radiohead at the same venue only two weeks later.…
Wed May 06 1992
The remaining members of Queen, Guns'n'Roses, Metallica, David Bowie, Elton John, Spinal Tap ect ect... not a bad lineup. HELL YEAH I was there, good work Andy scoring tickets for this one.Lots more information here, I researched this again when I did a quiz round based on this recently. Who knew that Robert Plant asked for his contribution not to be repeated? + who remembers Bob Geldof being there? Not me.…

Fancy dress + I got up on stage and just froze. We had a great time in the Jalehouse before though I think.…
Sat Mar 28 1992
Some time around this date, based on other tour dates^Updated Feb 2025 + now bang on this date, I have found the ticket + a flyer. For a long time I'd this as "approximately end of Jan", + now I know it to be Feb 11th 1992.], I went to [Brighton to stay with a friend Claire + see Zodiac Mindwarp and the Love Reaction. I remember the support was Terrorvision, and I liked them, and I bought their CD single at the gig.I don't have a ticket + I can find no trace of this actual gig, but I see other dates on the tour. I'm sure I remember it being The Zap Club.~I have seen listings showing they played at the Pink Toothbrush in Essex on February 12th 1992 and Middlesbrough Arena on January 30th, so all I know for sure is it was not those dates^And now I know the date, actual evidence, a rarity for the site. This is partly why I have started adding other things I know I attended that are not gigs, to help narrow down when I do find things I know I attended but can't find a date for.]._…

OK not a gig, but when I'm looking for what I might have been at on what days in 1992, I know on the 3rd of January I wasn't at a gig, I went to the cinema. It's a Friday night I bet I went to the Frog And Frigate too.…
