I went to this one, more from this year in my gigography for 2025. I saw Gene at least 9 times; Essential Music Festival @ Stanmer Park ('95), Glastonbury ('95), Tiger @ Mean Fiddler (1996), Kentish Town Forum (1999), Pavement (or possibly Gene + Ocean Colour Scene) @ Shepherds Bush Empire (1999), The Scala ('00), Uncle Bob's Wedding Reception @ Kings Cross Water Rats (2000), London Astoria (2001), + Hammersmith Odeon (2025), though I still have some bragging tagging to do so this may go up. Part of every gig I was at from '87 to 2025. A natural step from my Best gigs of all time blog post. Yeah I know very nerdy, let's let that go though, I'm having fun reminiscing about this stuff.
