Blog ≫ 2014 ≫ Thinking about one of these again

I need a project (that is not replacing all the flooring in the house, that is Clare's preferred project) and I'm coming back to this integrated amp + speakers 1 again. Starting in the dining room. Probably won't actually do it, but I do have some money in the "tv fund"... Could get this massive light replaced in the dining room too, get someone in to wire up the whole lot at once and put in some downlighters... then if I get bluetooth on my raspberry pi 2 xbmc 3 I could have very nice integrated streaming audio through the house... would love to give it a try anyway, but there are probably more important things to be spending the money on.

  2. Credit card sized super cheap computer, awesome.
  3. XBox Media Centre, some software that would run on an old xbox or other computer hardware to play movies and music etc. I used to talk about this a lot...
