Seems like a good plan to have this week to recover from the op, as I have been exhausted each morning. Maybe it was a mad rush of adrenalin during the operation or something? Anyway, week nearly up, and nothing much done except watched TV. I did swap a couple of lightbulbs but am underwhelmed by the results. I dare not change the light switches yet, maybe next week.
Also I wonder if it is the clearer eyesight now, our hallway definitely needs painting. There are dirty hand marks all the way up the stairs, it looks disgusting! I have six days holiday to take over the next two months, so will use a day to to some decorating I think.
I have watched more Good Omens and King Gary. Our Humax box will soon be full of free space...
I drove into Folkestone yesterday to get new light fittings in Toolstation. They're not exactly the same as the old ones, but I needed to change them to get edison screw fittings in there instead of bayonet. They look almost identical, I don't think Wife will spot they have changed. I am a bit underwhelmed by the new coloured lights everywhere still. It's only to be expected I think, there are only so many times you want to change the colour of the room, mostly you just want enough light for seeing stuff.
Wife is going to a quiz after work today, this means for me to take the boy swimming I have to leave the other boy at home on his own! This is wife's suggestion, I'm not happy with it really. We really want to go swimming tonight though as the little one thinks he is about to be moved up a group.
One last thing been trying to book a trip to London during half term. We have swapped the two weekends round, we were going to go to London about 20th Feb, and Mum and Dad's the weekend before. Mum has plans one day and I didn't want her to cancel them so we swapped, but this now leaves London as valentine's day, so it's hard to find a hotel. So going to cancel that for sure, but am wondering about going to Rochester instead. See what is there...
