BBC is covering it, friends keep sending pictures. It's a massive engineering work that closed the M27 just past Fareham, glad we had no need to go that way. It did perhaps put me off heading to Botley for coffee, though there wasn't really any time anyway.
Just had coffee from my machine, I'm still getting good value out of that.
Estimated 2934 cups of coffee ☕️ from my espresso machine 1 prob'ly comes to £0.88 a cup (including 4+ years of coffee ☕️ beans and now servicing 1 but not the 'leccy).
I still never got the energy usage worked out from the coffee machine. It's not much, but every time I use it a message should be sent to my home assistant server with details that I could do something with. Not important I know, but for a while my washing machine and tumble dryer were also doing this, saying "hey machine just finished, and we used this much energy costing that much money", which I liked.
