Good grief, everything is on fire, wildfires everywhere. Quite a shock when everyone's phone went off in the Potting Shed last night with this emergency alert.
Heathrow is not on fire but is flooded instead.
We're going through Heathrow on Tuesday 1, hope it is alright by then! I thought it was terminal three but wife says no it is five. We are not driving there, and driving seems to be the main issue so I hope we'll be OK. We are going by train though, and there have been two train derailments because of the heat this week...
No parkrun today, saving my energy for cutting some of the garden back possibly. Wife checked the insurance yesterday, to make sure we have some. But would you be covered for a wildfire? What if the woods behind us went up and then took the house with it?
Tutu parkrun next week and I'm going to miss that one too. I'm sure I will run again.
Supposedly a bit cooler today, my friend up in Hawkinge swears he has seen actual clouds too but I'm not sure.
Sunny intervals and a moderate breeze, 15 - 25℃.
