Blog ≫ 2026 ≫ Cooked marrow borani and it was good
This was the marrow recipe, and I made it, and it was surprisingly good. I was going to take some back to the Potting Shed today, but I did not. They are all suspicious of vegetarian things at the best of times. Someone did bring in some home made toffee vodka today though to share round. I didn't have any, it's made with condensed milk, but there are often free holiday spirits to share. Today someone also brought in cucumbers and beans from their allotment, but I was too late for any of those. We could not use them this week.
Can't use the free veg as we're off on holiday tomorrow 1! Getting the midday train, getting a lift up there so the car is on the drive for the duration. We're all washed, packed, and ironed, that was how I managed to go to the pub this afternoon.
They say it's cooler today, but not much.
Light rain showers and light winds, 16 - 24℃.
