The year Pulp replaced The Stone Roses as headliners, along with Oasis and The Cure. Great weather. Peak of the britpop years.
I have literally got the t-shirt for this one and will be wearing it if we get tickets for Glastonbury 2020 1.
- Ha, there was no Glastonbury 2020 was there? I did not get tickets for the post covid rescheduled one either, but finally in 2025 I have tickets, and I will be wearing it. I have TWO different Glastonbury 1995 t-shirts. And would you look at that, I saw Weezer apparently.
I attended this one, more from this year in my gigography for 1995. I saw Oasis probably 6 times; Portsmouth Wedgewood Rooms ('94), Glastonbury ('94), Southampton Guildhall ('94), Glastonbury (1995), Earls Court (1995), + Reading Festival (2000), though I still have some bragging tagging to do so this may go up. Part of all the gigs I went to from '87 to 2026. It's an obvious step from my Best Gigs Ever blog post. Yeah I know it's a bit nerdy, let's let that go though, I'm enjoying remembering these things.
