Hmm this seems to indicate it was Gene 1.

Also this one seems to indicate I gave someone a ticket 2 , NGP was me (Nice Guy Pauly).

Melody Maker gig guide November 1996 Found in this old Melody Maker gig guide. Melody Maker straight up has it that Gene were the headliner. I did tell Neil Hannon at one of these shows that I didn't like his cover of There Is A Light That Never Goes Out, was it this one, his own gig?

Part of every gig I went to from '87 to 2026. An obvious step from my Best Gigs Ever blog post. Yeah I know very nerdy, let's let that go though, I'm having fun reminiscing about this stuff.
