Blog2024 ≫ Nearly went for a run yesterday

Took the beetle down for it's not-quite-MOT yesterday before work. I put my running gear on and was all ready to just run back. It's about 5km and I've done it before. I chickened it in the end though, Clare was ready, and followed me there and drove me back.

Instead of that exercise we went in Aldi on the way back and I bought a tub of knock-off Pringles and ate the whole lot, so that is OK. I was too full of bad crisps and didn't have anything else for lunch.

We did have curry for tea, with the challenging new turmeric pickle, and then watched Bake Off Extra Slice.

I'm tired every day these days, getting up at 6:30 with the boys so I'm going to bed again about 9:30. Today is Friday though, I will hopefully find the energy to go to the Potting Shed. A few beers after a week of not drinking. Still probably be back and asleep about the same time though.

Glad to see a new feature we've been working on at work actually worked. It kicked in automatically at midnight last night, based on some other event. Yes a bit vague, but you can't see it anyway, it's only visible to a small trial of users.

Iron Maiden today in 1990, at Hammersmith Odeon.

Sunny and a gentle breeze, 11 - 17℃.

5k: Five kilometres, about three miles in old money.
