I have seen Gene probably 10 times; Essential Music Festival @ Stanmer Park ('95), Glastonbury (1995), Tiger @ Mean Fiddler ('96), V Festival @ Hylands Park (1997), Kentish Town Forum ('99), Pavement (or possibly Gene + Ocean Colour Scene) @ Shepherds Bush Empire ('99), The Scala (2000), Uncle Bob's Wedding Reception @ Kings Cross Water Rats ('00), London Astoria (2001), and Hammersmith Odeon (2025). Part of every gig I was at from '87 to 2026. An obvious step from my Best Gigs Ever weblog post. Yeah I know it's a bit geeky, let's let that go though, I'm enjoying reminiscing about this stuff.
